Description :The Indiana University Molecular Structure Center is a research facility in the Department of Chemistry at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. The laboratory has a full complement of single crystal and powder diffraction equipment used to characterize crystalline materials using the techniques of X-ray crystallography. Researchers in the laboratory can determine the three-dimensional structure of nearly any material that can be crystallized. The primary function of this server is to allow rapid access to the data that are generated in the IUMSC. Note that while most of the structures in the database are available to all interested, many of the recent structures will be password protected until the data are published in the appropriate scientific journal.
